Does anyone know someone in or around the Leeds area that is able to do the key coding/reprogramming on an e46 BMW M3?

The dealers and indys around here seem to want an absolute fortune to do this!

Thanks and I will give them a shout.

Just to clarify I am purely wanting to enable/disable some of the car functions associated with my keys, eg auto lock when driving, auto fold wing mirrors on lock/unlock, comfort entry etc...

Luckily I don't need a new key programming or anything drastic like that.

I bought a USB to ODBII lead and have done this programming on my own E46 M3.

I turned my own auto lock off (its annoying) and enabled bluetooth voice and M-Track mode. Well worth doing.

Not really sure how to code it to specific keys though

Ooh that's very interesting Ben.

Where did you get the OBDII lead from and was it expensive because I'm basically just wanting to code the same things as you actually and am not fussed whether they are associated to different keys.
