Left bank manifold glowing at idle

Hi all

Recently swapped in a 4.5 to replace my snapped crank 4.2 and after resolving the crank sensor issue, I now have an issue that on idle, the passenger side manifold glows.

Air boxes are fitted and sealed, 4.2 inlets are sealed to the head and the pressure tube is also in place.

Any suggestions? I'm going to remove the cat on that side of the exhaust to see if that is blocked (and run decat pipe, any other pointers, however obvious would be greatly appreciated!

Stop running it. You should NEVER have a manifold glowing at idle if running correctly.

Your ignition is too retarded, cam timing out or it's too lean.

Get the software running to start to see if there is anything obvious wrong.

I'll hook up the computer, it was being run for the first time, checking for water/oil leaks etc when we notice the manifold.

The puzzling part is that it only seems to effect one manifold...

I've had this with mine, while setting the engine up,

Resetting the adaptives cured it, for some reason the ignition timing was miles off.

But i never got the exhaust glowing red, I switched it off way before then
