Hi,

I regularly see a guy who has quite a selection of nice cars. They are all his as they all have corresponding private number plates and I've seen him driving these cars for years.

However none of these cars show up in any HPI check / number plate checker / congestion charge check etc

How is this done? Is there a way of making your cars private, if so, how?

He lives around 5 streets away, hardly stalking. I was just interested in what year his Lambo was when it drove past. Then realised none of his cars show up. This isn't really much to do with him. I'm merely interested in if it's actually possible to make cars private like that. I didn't think it was.

Leaving aside that your definition of "hardly stalking" is a little interesting, do they show on AskMid?

I don't really want to state his actual plates - then it is proper stalkerish haha tongue out

The plates are all completely UK standard (White at front, yellow at back). They are all 'LN LLL' format private plates.

If any men in black suits turn up on your doorstep you'll find out then.
