3rd time on ebay. It seems by the wording of his latest ad that he is frustrated no one has bought it!

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2000-TVR-TUSCAN-RED-last...

Well...........No 1 Cat C

No 2 jumps out of gear,.....now and then.

No 3 Vandal damage down one wing.

No 4 misplaced and or lost all the service
history.....scratchchin

Anybody brave enough or stcensoredid enough to take it on?

Oh and i forgot the engine management light comes on................... but only now and again.

And finally "WHAT A STEEL" Spelling kind of says it all.

I can't understand your problem with it;), couple of minor problems that would be easily sorted on engine and gearbox, the scratch will probably just polish out and why do you want an extensive history on a TVR anywayrolleyes oh yes I forgot the small amount of work to the front end to warrant a Cat C rating.
I just cant understand with an add like that why it hasn't sold before !!!!

If you can get it for 8-9k then what is the problem, might new a few spent on it but you could end up with a decent car. Not a bad base for an LS or 4.3/4.5super sport.

I have a friend looking for a tuscan, but to be honest unless it has had the engine rebuild and had a thorough inspection 8K could easily turn into 15K.

It's the Cat C that is the biggest off putter.

I'm too tight to HPI it, but does anybody know if this was first registered "V80 OOM"? It looks like it might be; and that car had a special engine in it.......

I'd pay 10k if engine had already had a rebuild (couple grand more if under warranty), he found the service history and there wasn't this gear box problem.. With no engine rebuild? I don't know, maybe 5k or 6k? No idea how costly the gear problem could be to resolve so would have to factor that in too. Losing the history would make me assume he's hiding the fact that the car never gets serviced, so would knock a couple more thousand off. The way I see it, this car potentially has 8-9k of work ahead of it, and may only be worth 12-13k at the end of it. Think someone will have to be pretty brave to get involved with this, but you never know, the gamble might pay off. I'm staying well away though hehe

Have never understood cat C
if the car has been bent, then repaired, how do VOSA inspect it by looking at it
