EVO forum - the slowest I have ever come across

How slow? Its like waiting for bloody Christmas. I dont know of any slower anywhere on the net. Its a disgrace - I'd post this rant over there but I got bored after 5 minutes of waiting for the main page to load. I'm tempted to issue a come over here post after today.

Its nothing to do with Ted or Pistonheads, the new evo site is currently unusable, fact.

I think quite a few are on this side of the pond for that very reason.

No Simon - I've had enough of it. They clearly dont care and have been given long enough to sort it out in my mind. I think pointing out to the other members that there is a perfectly good facility over here may give the peeps at evo a wake call when we all disappear.

I think Evo themselves, and Mike Penny too, care about the forum. However, it's now part of a big corporate empire and is insignificant. It does sort of reinforce my thread on the old forum (6 months ago-ish) wondering what the point of Evo's forum was. Clearly Dennis have no idea either, hence not giving it any priority at all.

Shame though.

Agreed, it is a shame. However by the time they get round to fixing the problems most of the heart of what was a great forum will have disappeared.

It some ways the change was a good thing because I used to waste hours on the evo site :-) But then I was waiting for my notice period to finish at my last place.

It'd be good to see this site build up into something the evo one used to be. Well, to be honest it probably is already but I only ever really look in here!

Its a shame about the site - I subscribe to both evo and autoexpress so I'm not interested in reading atricles / information on the site that I already have.
