Trike bike

Hi,

Anyone got some advice on the things to consider when doing a trike conversion on a bike?

Bike needs to be cheap so considering primarily shaft drive.

I can weld so would be doing the work myself.

Thinking of a static axle ford or reliant or something.

Is the trike going to be 2 wheels at the front or the back ??

I know there will be the hardcore of you out there who will be bike only, which is fair enough, but I don't currently have a bike license and want a project to work on so I'm considering this.

Friend of mine at work's got an 80's bmw shaft drive going cheap, anyone heard of these being converted?
