Hi, my ecu has fried - so i'm searching for a 2nd hand one. If anyone knows of any 147 GTA's being broken, please let me know! You can contact me on ollehg@gmail.com . I need the ecu, body computer & key. I would buy a new ecu, but I only have 1 key, and my bodyc omputer was swapped before I bought the car, so I can't get my remote locking working etc, nor make any more keys. So, makes sense to get a replacement ecu, bodycomputer & key set. Hope someone can help

I'm not an expert on Alfa but I don't think you can fit a sh unit. Most modern (can bus) type systems require parts such as that to be "coded" to the car. This can only be done once so a sh unit even with the key etc will still not recognise the rest of the system.

Worth checking with your auto electrician before you spend anything.

Hey - I know that things need to be coded etc, which is why I need the body computer, key & ecu. Not just the ecu... but thanks for mentioning.. can't hurt.

I found one for sale, but it was sold the day before I enquired ! So now, I need to wait for another 147 GTA to be broken up for spares. Hence why I'm posting on here, as it has a wider audience than just the alfa forums. There is one for sale in Australia through ebay, but he wants a lot more than it's worth. I guess you could argue as it's the only set available he can charge what he likes, but I've got a price agreed of 375 from a big alfa breakers here in the UK, just need to wait for one to turn up. But I thought posting on here couldn't hurt... maybe someone knows of others. Cheers!

Have you spoken to Ned at Autolusso? He always seems to have a variety of parts available.
