Tell you what, when driving to college in my area, the most common car seems to be the BMW Mini.
Not Golfs or 3-series, Focus or Astra.
Yes, the new mini.

What cars are as common as much in your area.

BTW love the smileys here:

Yes, I would say down here in Brighton the new bloody Mini seems to have taken over. Mostly driven by middle aged or older couples trying to relive their youth!!

It's so sad to see them cramped up in the tiny cabin totally convinced their fat little under powered go-cart is the height of fashion!

Mk4 Golfs in high trim levels (they've all got at least Recaros, most have leather too). GTI 2.0, GTI Turbo, V5, V6 4Motion - there are four of them simply within a few doors of my house. Plus a Beetle and a TT if they count

whatever

My sister had a BRG MGF. In her street in London there were 9 other BRG MGFs. She now has a BMW 530i estate!

6.5 miles - The Clio has a trip computer and the other day, I averaged 3.6mph and got 14.5mpg - Glad to have sold the TVR now!!

I was on the lookout as I had been warned against buying a silver car as there is too many about, so I decided to count silver cars - Lost count so counted Porkas and TTs instead!!!

All I ever see are Fords... Fiesta's, Puma's, Foci, Mundane-o's...

.. then again, maybe it's because I work for the blue oval?

Funny how some areas seem to concentrate sports cars. Round our way Tivs/Porsches are a common sight. Not so many Ferraris though. So its a successful area..but not *that* successful it appears.

W@nkers in Novas everywhere!

Other than that BMWs (usually poverty spec) of all types are very popular (including plenty of MINIs)

I even saw a Renault Spider today. First one I've seen on the road. The driver was getting very wet

ropey renaults, crap citroens, dodgy pugs...Normandy people don't like to display their wealth so they sleep on their money instead. I'd like to buy a mint car (renault spider - what's a drenching every now and then?), but wouldn't like to stand out any more than i already do sitting on the wrong side and not respecting speed limits out of town.
It's a fair bet that if you see anything remotely interesting around here it'll have english plates.
