Right then, my mother in law is after a new tele. She is in her late 70`s so as you can imagine she want`s something not to flashy,(read expensive) and not to big, 37in max. She wouldn`t know the difference between a Goodmans or a Samsung,Panasonic etc except the price.
She wants my advice so obviosly i`m going to push her away from the Goodmans/Bush end but what I am struggling with really is which is better for picture quality, led or lcd. Personally I would go with what I know which is lg and plasma but cannot find any below 40in. I`ve had my lg plasma for years now and it`s been faultless and top picture/sound quality.
HELP! She`s coming for lunch today and wants to pick my brains(won`t take long).

We took my grandmother down the local comet/currys and took her around the tv's. Borrowed a chair from the store and sat her the same distance her chair at home was from her telly and tried the remote controls for ease of use etc. The final selection may have got people here hot under the collar but she was happy and it lasted. Not expensive either.
