Gearbox Cooler problem

..... gearchange is improving with the miles
I'm glad you've said that as I was a little surprised to read all the comments regarding the gear change when cold in your other thread. Mine is a little crashy into 2nd for the first couple of miles but nothing like as bad as some make out. If I change to 2nd at low revs the first time I set off, usually it's perfectly fine from then on. TuxMan said:

Filled the pump up with oil , primed it through and away it went !! Managed to do another 120 miles today in the pouring rain as well ! Tux
Rain?? Whats that? Managed to cover a fair few miles myself today going to SUNNY bridlington!

Bet you are looking forward to getting run in, mapped and seeing the results of your hard winter graft now?

Glad you got it sorted, Simon, and are well on with the running in!
I was thinking about my gearbox cooler - ie that I don't know if/when it is running and if it is dropping the oil temps (not that I've generated much heat yet mind!).
I was thinking maybe a gauge in the bottom bit of the console and indicator light for when the pump activates.
Where did you fit your gauge & sender? Any piccies?
Regards
Graham

Hi Graham , coming together slowly how are you getting on ?
fitted a stack pro guage in a carbon pod on the top of the dash , looks a bit out of place but next winter i,m going to upgrade the interior so not a major issue at this stage .
gearbox man fitted the temp probe in the box but no reason why it cannot go in the bottom hose .

Good thanks, just went past the 500 miles on the way in to work this morning - Dave says I can have some more revs and even a little bit of boost now!!! Tux

She's going back for oil change on Thursday - can't wait to get her to Mr Jasper! I have a baby trackday on 30th so fingers crossed!
Thanks for the link btw - I'll have a look.

Regards
Graham
