Yet another electrical gremlin. This time the power has been lost to the boot switch/radio/cigar lighter. Seemed obviously a fuse, but fuses checked out okay.
The car has been kept inside on occaisional trickle charger via cigar lighter but didn't get any charge last time I plugged it in. all other electrics working okay and battery has enough charge to start the car. Where do I look next?

They are all on the same fuse so I would look again just to make sure. - 20Amp 5th along the top row of fuses from the left. I always keep a spare in the car because if it goes when you are on the move you can't get in the boot to get to your tools or fill her up with arab juice! Also check in the PS footwell, the PS door ECU also controls the boot (it will unlock if you unplug and re-connect the ECU) the fuse for this is the 10Amp 9th up from the bottom of the fuse box

turns out it was the fuse, but in typical TVR fasion, the fuse wasn't in quite the right place. A small piece of metal had fallen off the front of my cigar lighter adapter causing a short - hey ho.

Now just got to find the cause of the pax window being stuck halfway down?

Window encoder knackerd or wet\corroded. Remove clean & replace then test again
