Oh, and just to ask again... Wing mirrors for 280i

Anyone happen to have a spare wing mirror or two for an '85 280i sitting
around somewhere they'd be happy to part with? Or, know where to source
these? These are the black plastic Britax Wingard ones. I've done quite
a bit of checking around, even contacting Britax, and come up empty,
even with identifying the mirror model and other applications. I've
never seen these on any other car or otherwise for sale.

I put the later type 'pods' on mine, got them from DG (a long time ago) and made up non-motor bracket mounts for the mirrors

Excellent suggestion, but I really would like the originals. What'd you do with the mirrors you took off...?

Unfortunately when bought the wedge it had only one single lonely mirror mount/stump on the drivers door, with no mirror or stalk attached to it.

Are you talking about the electrical ones? If so rare re than "hens teeth" you may occasionly find a poor set on e-bay if you are lucky!
