confusedI know there is an answer there somewhere, but I can't find it, even after trying Adam Q's instructions!

What are the wheel nuts on a 2.8 Tasmin? Mine is 1981.

All I want is a nice shiny new set of nuts, as long as they aren't a fortune, in which case I need five!

Down to the last few bits before the trimmer... then vroom - or should I say, with a V6, "vwaaakkkk"! shout

N.b. Always an exclamation mark after that sound.

So much attention, so quickly: I must keep using this soap!

Thanks guys. Zig, I have acted on your first reply and bought from Racetech. The Granny shown in your second reply is later than my car (1981) and I suspect isn't the right fitting??

Getting there slowly! [b]Shane[/]b]

I owe you one: beer

Like the hubs, they are Ford Granada Mk2 (the squarish styled one). I think Cortina 4/5 are the same, but can't totally confirm that's true...

rolleyes Be warned, those with rusty nuts, the RaceTec nuts fit all the later 5 stud TVRs, just not the Wedges. Rats! furious

OK, no guarantees but....

I *think* they are 12mm standard metric thread, if that helps. I know when I had a Cortina once with posh wheels and locking nuts, the nuts were the wrong thread and were sloppy, good job the other 3 were proper ones.....

If it's so hard to find nuts, is it possible to change the captive studs/bolts for something else ?
Just a thought....

I might just find a nut that fits on mine before ordering a set but i think the cortina/granada ones might be the right size...??..
