Inexpensive radio mic...?

Can anyone recommend an inexpensive radio mic for use on a Canon XL1S. Used for shooting videos on location (rural locations and can be during bad weather).

No idea on budget: a friend has asked me and he just said 'cheap but decent'.

Cheap but decent. If cheap ones were decent, there wouldnt be expensive ones!

Are you after a lapel style radio mic kit, or a wireless reporter mic?

If its the former, then these sennheiser ones before, they're ok:

The more expensive ones have far better microphones, that give a much more tonal range, and usually have two ariels on the receiver, so less chance of interference.

As for using in bad weather - latex surgical style gloves, you can stretch one over the body back, tie the glove up, and stick an ariel in one of the fingers.
