Remind me what the latest is on front splitters

I'm having my front clam re sprayed this week and was going to have the front splitter tidied up at the same time as there is a 'bite' out of it! Having had a closer look there are cracks and all sorts all over it so... What's the latest alternatives and how much do they cost? Who supplies them too?

I'm aware of the corner jobs. What are they made from and do they look good?

Reverie do the best ones but they are fairly expensive, there are others available including the Noble original, the car needs as much downforce at the front as it can get to try and Improve the cars disastrous aero balance.

Thanks Adrian, I've just looked them up and they look great but this time around I'm going to have to keep the cost down as there's a lot more to do to the car yet. Any others out there?

Stephen, where are you getting your clam resprayed? As a perfectionist, that's the bit that annoys me due to stone chips etc.

FYI, I have just had Simon's splitter fitted (along with the carbon infils under the front nose) and I love it. Will post some pics eventually but you can see it on his green machine on that link.

Hi Lawrence, it's being done by my local garage in Sevenoaks Weald village where I live. He has a 3R himself and knows my car well.
It won't be going in the oven or anything that advanced, but I trust him to do a reasonable job. I'll post the result up and if I think it's really good, then perhaps you might want to see it in the flesh if you're keen to do yours too.

Totally recommend the front splitter and infills from Simon and if your really brave go for the carbon fibre throttle bracket :-)

Is that Weald Garage on Windmill Lane? Useful to know if I have something that doesn't warrant a trip down to Mole Valley.

Joust, Mole Valley are rip-off merchants, don't go there. Visit one put me off for life, almost £100 just to take a look and fiddle with my door a bit to make it shut better. A local clown could have done that for £20 cash in hand!

That's the one, Weald Garage Windmill Road, family business that's been there donkeys. He is a general mechanic and MOT centre.

He wouldn't insult a fellow Noble owner who also chose the best colour....

Although am confused as to whether Joust has that navy blue Nob now as his
profile says he's got an M400. What colour is it???

I've used MV for 10 years now and always been exceptionally impressed, but I've never taken them a 'small' job.

The amount of work they did on the 6 year service on the M400 and the bill didn't really reflect each other, it was thousands less than I expected to be honest given almost everything that had rusted or failed was replaced and the invoice of parts ran to over 2 pages.

Exactly the same as the M12 I used to have, hence I've never been bothered to update it
