hi guys,

just starting my quest looking for a chim and was wondering apart from the sticker on the top of the plenum, how can you tell the difference between the 3 engine variants? and also where is the engine number on these>?

The 500's are quicker laugh

Seriously though, take a look at this site http://www.chimaerapages.com/chimaera.php The standard 500's have different wheels and purple rocker covers (not sure if they all have these though).

You can do an online check of the car's tax status, which also tells you what engine capacity it's registered as. That, of course, is not necessarily the engine that's actually in the car, but if the registered capacity differs from what the owner claims then something's not right.

Go to the online tax page here and click on "Vehicle Enquiry".
