V-Special 2 OEM wheels.

Can anyone tell me which wheels would have been fitted to my 1994 V-Special 2 originally. I have a feeling that it's the 14" 7 spoke polished alloys, but I'd like to be sure.

For a bonus point, does anyone know what the original tyres would have been?

p.s. I've been a PHer for 10 years today. Any other long termers?

Yep I think it's the shiny ones. I've recently bought a set of the un-shiny ones after searching and searching for a set. Very hard to get hold of a set in tidy condition.

I can't find where I read it. But I swear I read somewhere the MX5 was launched on Dunlops. Could easily be memory playing games though.

Slightly OT, but as a follow up to this, my car currently has a set of aftermarket alloys and I don't think that they are ET45. Should I:

a) fit wheel spacers so that they are effectively ET45 again?

b) get the geometry alligned for the new wheels?

c) do omething else?

d) do nothing?
