Hi all

Once I have put the car back together it will be MOT time, I noticed that both steering rack gaitors have cracks in them, would like to replace them anyway but I understand this in now an MOT failure item.
So question is what are they off, can I get them from a local motor factor or are they specialist?

Cheers in advance

you may get a pass and advise for the gaitors if they are only cracking through age.

If they are split/holed they will fail

Hi, I got a set from Racetech dont think they were that pricey, check their web site. You will have to specify PAS or non as there is a difference.

I think they are Granada, I fitted new ones a year or so ago and it was easier just to get them from Racing Green.

I called them and they did me a better deal on the postage than the website tried to sting me.

In the end they were cheaper than trying to get the Grandad ones.

Just call RG, they will sort you out.

There's nothing new about this split gaiters have always been a failure, if it's just surface cracking then it shouldn't be a problem.
