Just read the story about Peugeot's Customer Loyalty and wondered what any of you guys have received from your dealers after buying more that say 3 or 4 cars, or even many more like the bloke in the article.

What a cringeworthy story.

I have had a better "reward" than an overnight loan of a Peugeot from my local OPC when I first took my 996 in for a service!

Second prize was 2 nights' loan etc. biggrin

After 8 new is 911's in a row I usually get, weekend / two day test drives on anything I fancy, invited to all sort of events I never want to go to ( in their showroom) but also been out on half day experiences with race drivers etc etc

...... And a hot line to the warranty department in reading, at one stage end of 993's start of 996's they knew then sound of my voice didn't even have to say who I was .... Now that's service !!!

Only ever bought one new Porsche from an OPC and got given a day out at a country pile playing with shotguns, pistols, archery and a spot of ferret racing.

All washed down with a lovely 3 course dinner.

Winning the shooting competition was a nice bonus wink

Thing is though, it'll keep me going back to the same OPC.

Seriously? How does one coerce a ferret into racing other ferrets?

Seriously - a great laugh too.
Made great by the comedian that was the chap that owned them.

The secret is in choosing the Ferret that looks like it'll run quick, isn't so fat it struggles in the tube and has the best sense of smell (a saucer of 'Firsty Ferret' awaits the winner at the end of the tube).

So in essence, not an exact science in choosing a winner. laugh

Er no, good service is about not having to ring them in the first place.

I am afraid it was meant sarcastically !!! Hence why there wasn't a 9th new 911 in a row !

No idea either Zyppy. But I've googled it and there's a web site you can visit:
