It's fairly pricey, but looks clean. Spoken to the chap on the phone and it's lacking a lot of service history. But has this and last years MOT + servicing invoices.

So hard trying to find a tidy one near Aberdeen! What Rev/power is this?

Ahem, have a link... http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/toyo...

Very over priced! Travel a bit further and get a better deal, and save yourself over £1000...

It looks nice, too nice.

Has it had a respray? The red looks too bright for early MR2s.

Mileage is very low for the year. Lack of leather seats could mean it is an import.

I'd got for a later model, Rev 3 or newer with the round rear lights.

A car of that year would be a rev 2 and should have black side rubbing and black sills. Not a problem if the work has been done properly, rather than to hide an accident.

That could make sense. The seller was a bit patchy on info (he bought it a year ago) and apparently it was re-registered in '09 after being used as an older chaps project.

Looking for a non import rev3> t-bar ideally to last me a few years. C. 80K miles. What would you expect to pay for such a car? or is it a case of it being worth as much as someone is willing to pay?

Seems a bit pricey tbh. I'm looking at MR2'a at the moment and my budget is set at £1000. I know I'm looking at leggy ones but they are still good. Not sure if that is 2.5 times better than a 1k one.

After doing some research. I'd pay that for a very good turbo. not an early NA hehe

Got some hunting to do, it's either an MR2 or a S14a 200sx.

I'd rather have the 200 than an MR2, but budget it tight!

Only thing i'm weary of RE the 200 is running costs and reliability. From what i've seen many are quite shagged, same to both cars but the 200SX seems to attract more tyre shredders.
