Why are some threads closed and restarted,

Best //Mbarge/look at this vol 3, etc

While some are allowed to run and run, Decently modified cars, etc?

A lot of threads are closed and restarted because popular threads that get really large begin to affect the performance of the rest of the forum. 1,000 posts is the general rule for a new thread / volume.
