ford fiesta 1-3 finesse

Heya guys i need a cheap run around type car after the crap punto kicked the bucket... basically something cheap and reliable for getting to and from work with the occasional day out to the coast etc. seen a 1.3 fiestas finesse close by . really tidy and clean . on a 2001 plate full m.o.t , private seller . kept garaged and only has 51000 on the clock so been nowhere really for its age. the interior and paint are spot on . the guy is selling because it was his granddads who has died recently and was his shopping on a weekend car. he is wanting about 800 squid which sounds really good. its metallic red ... not that the colour matters, was realy looking at clio's having had one in the past and loved it, then had a punto and would never touch another of those again. going to see it wednesday anything i realy should be looking at or know ? i realy need a cheap reliable small car just for work and back. money is tight at the moment so any advice welcome. this is in bramley Leeds if it matters link to the car is here...http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201212457519424/sort/priceasc/usedcars/price-from/500/price-to/1000/model/fiesta/make/ford/postcode/ls133rg/quicksearch/true/page/1/radius/1?logcode=p

I had one as my first car, pretty simple cars, with an old engine in it, performance wise your not going to set the world on fire, but if it's just a runabout, should it matter? Should be cheap to insure as well.
