Just wondering if anyone has purchased the game, and what their opinion of it is? Contemplating buying it due to having the second one in the series, but the third looked woeful. A return to form?

Yeah, I brought it on Friday. It’s ok. It’s entertaining enough and seems to have a decent amount of game time. There are several different styles of games, from panna, futsol, last man standing to simple 5v5, 4v4, 3v3, 2v2 and 1v1. Personally I like futsol, its basic 5 a side with no walls to bounce off.

Panna is skill based, basically you build a score up through nutmegs and air tricks, and then when you score a goal the score you have built up from tricks gets added to the goal score line, potentially you could be 8 or 9 nil up from scoring one goal.

Last man standing is a simple if you score you loose a player. First team to loose all their players win.

Team depth is limited to about 7 to 8 players so you don’t get a full roster. But they have every team you can think of. For instance Chelsea, you can only play as cech, cole, terry, lampard, drogba, mata sturridge and torres. The teams have 4 kits each, the official team strips home and away and street strips home and away.

Some of the tricks though are for show and you can play the game using the basic tricks and still complete it on hard. What is cool is that you can take your created player from fifa 12 and use him in your world tour.

The panna mode was on Fifa Street 2, but it seems more advanced now. I remember completing the game, but many hours of frustration preceded it. Lots more different modes sounds promising, i'll treat myself to it for my birthday! And thanks for the feedback - really helpful.
