Ashtray in 280i /350i, where from?
Discussion
I don't think it's SDi. And no-one has ever posted up a possible car it might be from. They are getting rare though....
To this end - would anyone be interested in a re-machined billet alloy one? I have someone who can possibly make them, if I sweet-talk him into it.

wouldn't it be more useful to turn it in to something else...........ipod docking station, would be easy to route cable under centre console from back of head unit
i smoke and to be honest i struggle to drive any TVR and smoke at same time, they can be a bit of a handful, requiring 2 hands on the wheel and what with the british road, the tvr can be a bit boucy compared to a modern vehicle so tend to end up poking myself in the head while trying to find my mouth
the phrase ashtray on motorbike also springs to mind, if the roof is down don't really see the point!!
could be worse though as when it comes to ashtray positioning TVR really did win the "what the hell did they put it there for" prize on the Chimera!!!
