As you may have read in numerous news snippets, Wiltshire Police now have a mobile speed camera mounted in the back of a motorbike. Their reasons for this are apparently so that they can enforce the speed limits in small villages where the roads are too narrow for a scamera van. Well on Sunday I saw a use for the 'bike not mentioned in their press coverage - hiding behind the concrete support pillars of bypass flyovers!! Seriously, you could not see the bike at all until you were past, and even then it was only my paranoia of speed cameras that meant I was looking everywhere for them. Sneaky b@stards!! Unfortunately I was following someone somewhere so couldnt stop to take a picture - I wish I had, the press would have loved it!

A36 Warminster bypass. As you go up the hill, they very often put a van in the layby on the left (NB: They now tuck it right in so that you only see it goes to dual lane, and are therefore generally overtaking!). Just before this layby is a flyover bridge - they had the bike completely hidden behind that.
