Poor after care, repairs and serivicing

I'm just wondering if any manufacturers have a poor rep. for after sales care and servicing. Job interview soon; I'd like to be clued up. Thanks.

Most of them have bad dealers, with the possible exception of Lexus who really put effort into customer service. Alfa Romeo are supposed to be particularly bad though.

The issue with most manufacturers is that all the dealers are franchises so it depends a lot on how their company works.
