Looks to be alot of money !! 5 speed box ?? also does it have a trackday day sump ? very poor advert and while the milage is low remember the diff in the 5 speed is made of swiss cheese and without a track day sump going on track would be a very bad idea !! .
how the hell this car is still for sale i will never know !! top spec and great condition !!

I went to see this car a few weeks ago. Was the first one I checked, so it might not be the most professional 'survey', but it did not seem a very cherished example, quite a bit of rust, one (only one) damper replaced, the other 3 old. The car is sold on behalf of a customer so no warranty (but I guess it could have been included with some haggling).
My 2p: follow the indication from tuxman, Rob (AMG merc) is in top condition and Rob a top guy too.
I then decided to buy one which I found in Italy and bring it back. Hopefully I'll be able to drive beginning of April.
Anotherdom: where do you live? I just moved to Needham Market, I'm really less than a minute away from Kerridges.
cheers/Luca

Luca,
You're even closer than me then - I'm in Ringshall. We'll have to meet up when you have the car.

and I seem to understand there a few other suffolk based noble owners. I cannot wait...hope not to have problems with the MOT which I need to pass before getting the plates. You're even closer than me then - I'm in Ringshall. We'll have to meet up when you have the car.

OP sorry for the OT but a question on Kerridges: how is their service? I made up my mind and I'll be another customer for Jetstream, but would be useful to know if the garage I have on my doorstep was a good one.
thanks/luca
Yep, good people. Steve took me out in one of the Nobles when I went to drive a Cayman S. Unfortunately for me they sold that car quickly. The team did a very comprehensive investigation and service on my Noble after I bought it (from elsewhere), and have helped me out with phone enquiries and spares since. My 3 year old son loves to visit too!

Thanks all again for quick replies.
As a newbie I'm quite keen on buying from a dealer for a little peace of mind/warranty but by the sounds of it (thanks for your your honest 'initial impressions'), this car might not be 'the one'.
I appreciate that I may end up spending more in the long run on updates looking at standard-ish cars but have already stretched my funds so am beginning to think I'll just need to wait for the right car (or keep on saving...). I do tend to put a fair amount of miles on my cars so hence preference for looking at low-ish miles examples (at present).
Tux - the car you linked to looks superb but unfortunately is over my budget.
Thanks again

So you intend to pay a premium to buy a low mileage car and then put lots of miles on it? Sounds like a false economy to me. How many miles are you talking and how long do you anticipate keeping the car?
I agree with Andy too, go and see this one and talk to the chaps at Kerridges, you'll get lots of useful info even if you don't buy a car.

I've been wondering that too, methinks Rob doesn't really want to sell it and has unconsciously been putting prospective buyers off. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3503239.htm

Good advice. Kerridges have a good reputation, and in my experience, are a pleasure to deal with.

- I don't wash it
- I encourage next doors moggy to spend a week beforehand locked inside
- I 'misplace' my documentation file
- I mutter "Cat-D" under my breath repeatedly
- I 'spill' oil on both turbos
- I go wee-wee into the water coolant header tank (new brand of anti-freeze)
... and still they like it.
And thanks for the mention Tux

Not a Noble, but I bought my car from them (Oliver). Had some minor issues after purchase (the car had been sat for a while) and all were sorted with no quibbles. Oliver even came to work specially one Sunday afternoon to open up for me so I could drop the car off before a trip away!
I'd certainly buy again there, and have had all my service/MOT work done there.
