Steering rack stops

How do I remove the steering rack stops that were fitted so the car could run with 18" spider's On ?

They should be split, so no dismantling required to fit, so should just prise off.

Ok where on the rack are they?

They are on the rod that pops out of the rack to the wheel! I remember fitting some and having to push a gaitor outta the way etc
