Anyone know wher I can get some carpet only floor mats please. I hate the rubber under the pedals as its slippy and is wrecking my shoes

Don't ignore the latest style of official A.M. over-mats as they are now top quality. They used to have a ridged heel pad that ripped, but the new flat pad is far more robust and they look great..... although rather expensive!

Hi Grant, The ones the dealer sent me a picture of still have the rubber under the pedals. Are you saying there is a different version?

I also got mine from The Vantage Collection.

You can customise, including stitching, and different types of heel pad and AM motifs.

Great quality, and great service.

Hi Nick, the new ones have been out for a while now. They still have a rubber heel pad but it is flat now rather than ridged (as the earlier ones were) and much better quality/harder wearing than the previous design which got a bad name for ripping on the pad.

edited to add - this is the only image I could find of the latest design, not very good I'm afraid

I ordered some from here:

http://www.autostyle.co.uk/

But I haven't seen them yet. You can choose whether to have a scuff plate or not.

I will post a picture next week when I pick them up.

Yes, the chap I dealt with was Nicholas David. Not sure but I believe he was in California. With import tax the mats were £245.

I looked at these and they looked very good quality.

It would be great if you could post a photo up when you get them.

I've ordered a set a couple of weeks ago but believe they have not yet arrived for inspection.

I have also asked Nicholas to look at options he can do with respect to a gear-glove for V12V/DBS owners

Time will tell if this is a good'en or not.

I have a set from http://www.autostyle.co.uk/patternsearch2.asp?make.... I've done 15000 miles since they were fitted, and they are not showing any signs of wear. I would use them again.

She does, but only for her own gearknob, which I might add is VASTLY superior to the stupid, shapeless lump of metal thing Aston put in the V12V/DBS.

Not sure if this is the right place to mention this , but I have a brand new set of mats for sale from "The Vantage Collection " which I bought for my 07 V8 Vantage.

Never fitted as I sold the car and bought a DB9.

They are grey with the AM logo embroidered in the correct colours. Consists of drivers/passengers, parcel shelf and boot mats(the boot mat is black ).

If anyone is interested, send me a pm.

Each to their own Nick smile It's too large for my delicate hands and looks like a big chunk of metal, there is no finesse to it like the rest of the interior.
