BBWF update/news!
Discussion
Hi
Well we may have another record attempt at this years fest!
The record at previously BBWF for SX (supercharged) cars is we believe 3 cars.
Well this year we are trying to beat it!
We have already Adams 400SX (When he finish's repairing it, and hopefuly he then will not break it again) Martin in his 400SX (Hopefully out of the bodyshop again)
I have found out that the 350SX which was for Sale at Hexham is being deleverd to it's new owner at BBWF. So that's three.
Invites to other known SX owners are being sent so we may have another record for Fest!
Jasper Gilder has just e-mailed me to say he will be there so that's four!
So if any of you know of a SX owner (Or are one) please have a friendly word and try and get them to come along!

Andy , how many seacs are going ? Hopefully mikeb's will be finished by then ?
SteveSo far just you and me in 450's and Martin in his 420.
Which is a poor showing of SEAC's as there were 53/55 (depending who you believe) made!
Compared with 11 SX of which nine are left, 8 in this country. We now have 4 coming so that's 50% of the known SX in the country.
Now if we had that many SEAC's what a sight, let alone noise!
Just a few more would be nice?
Andy
Adam is bringing spares you say
Perhaps IF I dont release some of the pictures from last year I could get a supercharger for the right price........
And Ive got 2 spare grooves on the bottom pulley as there is no power steering and the air con has been disconnected, so I could just bolt it on and away we go!!!
Ill bring a boot full of tools!

As you rightly said above you are bringing a rare 1 of the 6 350i FHC 2+2 and you hopefully intend to bring your 280i FHC 2+2. Ralph Dodds is intending on bring his 280i FHC 2+2 (How many of them were there?)
Well I know of another 350i 2+2 and will be giving him a call/e-mail (Steve stand by your computer)
Can you see were I am going to!
Lets see if we can also have a collection of 2+2s and get another record!
To some they may not be so interesting as SEAC's or SXs but the are a rare wedge/TVR so if we can get a gathering together we should try!
So the call is going out to any owner or do you know of an owner of a wedge FHC 2+2.
Please come along to BBWF on the 30th and lets see how big a collection of 2+2s we can get!

With help from some information Ralph has given me, we defiantly have a possibility of a record for the 350i 2+2. The factory made six of these one was LHD and went to Switzerland. A RHD car has been written off so that leaves four cars left in the country! So if Steve brings his white car we have 50% of the cars left in Britain.
We also might get one of the 280i which have been altered to a V8 so that will be interesting!
With regard to the 280i 2+2s the factory made 47 with the two already coming we have a long way to go to get a good number! I know of three more and have contacted two of the owners and the third is not in a roadworthy condition!
So I have a lot of work to do! I will keep trying.
