Tyre recommendations for 17"RL7s?

What do people recommend these days after the demise of the T1R?

We need a pair of rears after picking up a bad puncture at the weekend, and I am not sure what is favourable?

It has to be a list 1a tyre - nothing R888/RSR/R1R/track biased/sticky!

Thoughts?

I ran good year eagle f1s on my 17's and found them good on and off track bought a new set for the spiders I am sure the new ones will be just as good . I also ran them on my chim for 3years.

We ran Eagles on our spiders - I am not particularly impressed I'm afraid - but they are old?

I have ran the last 3 tread patterns on the eagle f1's the Gs-d3 ( V pattern)

On my 17" wheels the Asymmetric 1's and they are really good in the wet and dry.

And now on my spiders Asymmetric 2's Can not comment as i have done 0 miles on them.

I can not look past them now tried loads of brands over the years and it is a good predictable tyre for me any way.

To add i only drive my tvr's in the summer months but i have ran f1's on my old jag all year round and found them good until the snow came.
