She went in for a £350 rusty windscreen frame job, but ended up having a total repaint
oh, and those pesky headlight washers were filled in too

Strangely softer and more composed now she is on all RS bushings, RS monoballs and rear solid subframe mounts.

Your car looks awesome
but the 993 is the most overrated car I have owned. I loved looking at iit but hated driving it so a car for life it was not.
That's a very common complaint from previous S owners. I wish I had a tenner for everytime I'd heard the same sentiments.
but the 993 is the most overrated car I have owned. I loved looking at iit but hated driving it so a car for life it was not. The C4S has all the extra weight and girth of the more GT like Turbo yet none of its extra power but at the same time, the same power as the standard car yet none of its agility, nimbleness and feel. They are all very different cars IME.

That pretty much covers it. Loved the noise hated the steering and it didn't inspire any confidence when pressing on. It was a dream realised when I bought it but it failed to live up to that dream. With a bag of hindsight I wish I bought a 2wd car but the myth that I would die going backwards though a fence/wall was enough to scare me into a C4S.P
