The Juke, aside from being incredibly ugly and too try hard design wise, looks to have a heavily sloped rear roof line and large wheel arch intrusion into the rear door, which suggests access may be quite difficult. Might be something to consider for a motability car.
TBH, if I wanted a "exciting" car as you put it, I would not even consider a pseudo 4x4 that was designed for school run mums. A brisk estate would be far more up my street - something like a Skoda Fabia VRs perhaps.

I assumed that his son would be sitting in the front lol, which would be much easier in a Juke than a MINI
