Heater smell in trafic
Discussion
Can't say I've heard of anyone doing this.
Think I'm right in saying air comes in on the N/S side, just behind the pepperpot grill. So, must travel between inner & outer wings over the wheel arch to the heater blower??
Where would you re-site the intake? I would have thought that anywhere along the near side will tend to suck in exhaust fumes in traffic?

Yes, this is the cabin air intake route. The only viable way I can think of to re-route it would be to block the front wing inlet off and cut an opening above in the top of the battery box so that the air is drawn in via the battery box instead. You might then also be able to squeeze in a charcoal filter panel above the battery to ensure pure odor free air?
You might need a remote vented battery for that option though?
