When I click on quote on 14-7's post on page 1 here I get the something's not right - technical team notified page. But I can click on quote on other posts on that thread and generally haven't encountered this before...

Basically I'm baffled!

What i found is when i quote that post it only quotes "Stupid woman" and not the first line above the Brake quote.

He's split his post before and after a quote. Easiest to quote all and remove quote?

You have to 'quote all' for that post smile
I am aware of that. I was just commenting on the basic quote behaviour as observed. smile

Sorry, it's the second post, the one beginning "I have been reading through the Brake website sometimes laughing my arse off and others shaking my head in disbelief. Some cracking exerts below!"

And it is still crashing...

Edit: But "quote all" button works!

It doesn't work clicking quote, but does if you click "quote all"

Why does it crash though? What's causing it?

You're trying to do it at 71mph. Obviously if you go so fast you're bound to end up with a crash. smile

When you say crash, do you mean it asks you to login again?
If so, it's likely because the linky is to pistonheads.com, not whatever site your cookies are for e.g. www.pistonheads.com or .co.uk or summink.

No, I get the "Sorry, something's not quite right.
The technical team have been notified." error page.

I got the same. But if I click quote here there's no problem, it just quotes the one post.

... or it's user error. You're clicking it wrong. Turn it off and on again.
