Esprit gearbox

I might be completely off the mark here but laying in the barn I have some citroen DS 5 speed gearboxs, am I right in thinking they were also supplied by citroen to lotus and used in early esprits?

IIRC they used Citroen C35 gearboxes?

Someone may know the difference with the DS.
