Laying in the barn I have a couple of low mileage citroen DS 5 speed gearboxs, I have been told that they are quite thought after. And were also fitted to the Maserati Merak, Citroen SM and suplied to Lotus and fitted to the Esprit is this right?

Definitely not fitted to the SM, not sure about the Lotus but really don't think so.

Also sadly the least attractive of the DS boxes. Full autos are by far the rarest, the hydraulic semi auto is the best - actually faster than the manual so said Bob Neyret who campaigned a DS in many international rallies.

Anyway, are you selling them? I happen to have a 5 speed manual DS smile

Also how do you know they are low mileage?

Also what is attached to them?

The Renault box was used from about 1988.

Giugiaro Esprits prior to 1987 used the Citroen Maserati transmission.

Which is a development of, but not the same as the DS box.
