thank you dear brother for starting this thread on my behalf! At least we know your rice rocket will pass as its quieter than my P1 and that's not exactly loud!
i cant remember how loud mine was when tested at Brands but it is a stock GTO-3 so fingers crossed.

Hmm, gotta love noise tests.
Well before my first track day (98db limit) at Brands I did what they suggest and dropped in for a noise check; they were being done near the fuel pumps (away from the garages) and I was told "95db, no problem".
Two weeks later, on the day, the checks were being done at the (open) entrance to a pit garage - lots of echo - sharp intake of breath from the (same) tester and "100db mate, but short-shift on the pit straight and I'll let you go this time".
3R, standard pipes in reasonable condition... 95db to 100db, depending...
