Does anyone know if the mesh inside the flame trap is available to buy on its own, or only comes with new flame traps?

Tried a few places like clever trevor, but dont sell the mesh on its own. Also, maybe could do with the o ring to go between flame trap and rocker cover.

Thanks.

The mesh just washes out with jizer or something like it but I would just buy a new one they are only cheap and you will get the bits you want

I would be interested if you do manage to locate an O ring and mesh. I have a Point-CNC flame trap to go on mine but no replacement mesh or O ring and I wanted to fit new if possible

If you go to a Boiler parts supllier they normaly have a box of different size " O " rings that might fit . I often get them from them ..

If by 'mesh', you mean the trapping media rather than the plate that retains it (that in turn is retained by the circlip), a couple of those stainless swarf ribbon pan scourers work well smile

The flame trap is from Clive at Point CNC.

This is why I was asking the question - Very tempted to buy one! Finally getting my rocker covers powder coated and deciding between powder coating/polishing a new flame trap or buying a point cnc one! Obviously the point cnc one doesnt come with o ring or mesh though, hence the question.

hmmm.... decisions decisions....

Thanks for the o ring link!
