Reading the thread I don't know why he bothered buying the car he's selling everything off that makes it a TVR and he's going to lengthen the chassis, it'll be for sale in a few years as an unfinished 'project'. Sounds a right prat.
Spot on! How about this quote."It's too bad to repair, theres a lot of stuff missing from it and they never floated my boat anyway. There a mad man's machine, they're like a car Max Power designed and retailed to the public. Nothing works in them and they drive like a garden gate with an engine attached in standard form."
Must be a weed tester or something
I guess his daily drive is a mclaren F1 or similar.Theres much better bases for hot rods and strip cars. Shame hes over the water though as I'd like the engine out of as a spare to strip...
A shame ful end to a little peice of british motoring history.

What a strange thing to say when he's intending to build a 'Rod'. Is that going to drive like a Caterham then?"...they drive like a garden gate with an engine attached in standard form."
Sometimes great things come from mad ideas. This isn't one.

Or a new beginning.
Have you seen the Chim that now boasts twin turbo and a moggy shell?
Cool as IMO
Looks awesome, but not sure I understand the point of starting with a Chim chassis - from the fabrication work here it looks like he could have scratch built something just as easily. Have you seen the Chim that now boasts twin turbo and a moggy shell?
Cool as IMO
