Ceramic coating piston crowns

Does anyone have any real world experience or knowledge of coating piston crowns? I've read a few articles online, but as most seem to be a few years old, I'm hoping a few people here have done this and run this for a while.

My TVR 4.5 AJP is out for a rebuild, so am thinking of coating the crowns at least and maybe ptfe/teflon coating the piston skirts to reduce power loss thru friction.

Any help or advice is much appreciated.
