Just a quick shout to see if there are any Merc drivers here that have issues with the OE dunlop tyres fitted.

Has anyone had any problems?

Unlike your posting name my experience is one of road noise which gets worse as the tyres wear, to the extent it sounds like you have wheel bearing problems. If they are not directional your can reduce this by switching them from side to side but it soon returns.

Are you having the same issues?

It's not noise related. More to do with perishing.

My mother has a new-ish C Class with these fitted. She doesn't do much mileage as she works close to home so mentioned it to the dealer. They said they've seen several other cars with Dunlops on with the same issue so have referred her to them.

I'm just curious to see if anyone here had similar issues and what the outcome was.

How old are the tyres, according to the age mark on the sidewall?

I did ask. She has no clue and is too far away for me to check for her.

The car is a 59 plate so the tyres won't be too far away from that.
