A slight Bonnet Mod....long live the revolution!

Just thought I'd post a trio of piccys of a bonnet mod I did recently. I started out using Jag XKR vents then took it a stage further by making my own variation after I became less inspired by Jag pieces. When the weather heats up I will finish off the job with a top coat of paint reserved for when the cracks have manisfested and have been sorted. IMO the vents set off the bonnet and make a strong statement as well as aiding under bonnet heat to escape and making the carb breath easier too....

Looking good .You have done a tidy job there GV.i have bought some astra gte vents for my bonnet.Not fitted yet.Ithink the standart s2 bonnet.is missing some thing .Love the later bonnets 390 etc.Cheers Andrew.Mike 350i s2

I did consider the water ingress issue and so far there's hasn't been any problems even when we've had some rain. Besides I also have a battery cut off which also helps too.

They look cool..I should think when you are moving they will help cool the engine quite a bit..What about some purple LEDs in the engine bay so you can see the engine through them at night..Or is that a bit chavvy!!..Ziga

Those vents look wicked Andrew. You've done a good job mate. Zig, if you had those on your bonnet with purple leds underneath, with the amount of chrome under your bonnet, it would look spectacular.
