Springs and things

I have a 98 Honda CRV which i love to bits.
However we do lots of shows and the time has come when i must buy a van.
The loading capacity on the Honda is around 450kg.

I was wondering if it might be possible to upgrade the suspension so i could take more weight?
What would i need to change - springs/struts etc

I just wanted to check before the Honda went on sale.

I believe exceeding a vehicle's 'Gross weight' is an offence, regardless of if it has been modified to better handle the additional weight. I suggest you look up your cars Gross weight and check if you can be within it.

ah, good point. I think we'll start looking for a bigger 4x4 or a van
