Anyone got a samsung d6100 TV? thinking of getting one, either this or have been considering an LG or Panasonic.
I'm sure that I have been giving this too much thought!! but it seems that there is no "perfect" TV out there. All the TV's I have researched seem to either be loved or hated in the reviews - doesn't make choosing a set any easier!
I currently have a Sony CRT box and since getting a PS3 I have decided that I should probably get a new TV. I mostly watch SD TV so want a good all round TV not one that is amazing at HD but crap at everything else.
please help! budget is around £550

In typical PH fashion, I'm going to recommend a bigger and more costly TV. Arguably the best available at that price:

I have the 46" model and the picture quality is superb, even in SD.

I've got a 37" Panasonic Plasma and would agree it's an excellent TV.
When I bought it, it stood out a mile as the best picture (to my eye) and I still haven't seen one I like better after 3 years now.
That said, my parents new 32" Sony LED/LCD TV looks pretty good on a normal digital/freeview signal, so it'll be interesting to see how good that is with a decent feed.

would be nice but I simply don't have a big enough living room to accommodate such a big screen! Was considering a 32" but figured it would not be quite big enough.http://www.richersounds.com/product/plasma-tv/pana...
