It's coming awfully close to that wallet-denting time of year again: the Tuscan is due its 12k service...

I had the 6k service done at TVR Power, and I was very happy with the whole deal. However, I've just called them to get it booked in and they're stacked I can leave it a bit before the service, or I can think about getting it done somewhere else. The two options that have crossed my mind are a) the factory, or b) I've heard Silverstone TVR are getting good reports (and are within a sensible distance of Nottingham).

Seem to recall the factory's prices were reasonable, compared to main dealer servicing, but when I questioned the chaps at Silverstone about servicing costs they were evasive and said they would be offering a 'complete quality service' instead of competing on price - read into that what you will

Anyone got any costs they care to share for these two options, or any other for that matter? TVR Power quote £856.31 all-in for a 12k service.

My 12k at Dave Batty was about £500 - but then not exactly local for you.

Hi Pete :

TVR power are great from what i hear .. and bearing in mind your location I'd say they're ideally placed .. not too far and they're SP6 experts.

Thanks joo I'd love to have TVR Power do it, but they won't even book it in at the moment - I've got to call back in a couple of weeks

Joolz, what's the waiting time at the moment? Wol's 6k is due shortly.
