Got a mate with a mk 1 SLK, 230 and the Komp has gone.
What are the costs of getting such a thing sorted? Isnt there a merc mechanic chap knocking about the forum on here? Just want some vague ideas about what sort of cost hit dealing either making it work again or needing a new one is likely to be. Im contemplating giving him a cheap offer for the motor as spring/summer hack for out here.
