its probably been done before but .....

my camshaft or a follower is now making a loud ticking noise.

Which camshaft seems to be the best to make my 93 griff 500 better in traffic, to stop shunt and a better delivery of power.
i dont want massive expense in RR time so is there a replacement that will need little setting up?

i will do the work myself but will need someone to set it up on a RR in the Doncaster Area or Chesterfield Area (already spoke to jools and he is busy for 4 months!)

i did read somewhere on here a comment to the extent that putting a MA tornado Chip in and having it set up goes a long way to solving the shunting.

i have a V8 Dev MC2 cam and stage 3 heads on my 95 griff 500, and would say if anything the shunt at low speed low revs is worse that the standard cam.
(Just my opinion)

There is a very accurate (frightening)RR at Nobles Motorsport in Chesterfield, they were v. efficient on my visit(they build the engines for M12 etc).
