A1 Convey to Chatsworth

Anyone travelling down the A1 on Sunday morning and wanting to meet up around Doncaster area to travel in convey on to Chatsworth.

I will be passing the Moto services on M18 Junction

9.00 am around Doncaster area would get us at Chatsworth for 9.45

We're about an hour from Doncaster, so that could work. Depends if we decide to go a slightly more scenic route than just plodding down the A1.

Hi Steve, If I end up going then I will be but it will depend on if I can persuade the missus and more importantly if my car is back from the bodyshop in time.

BUT ... don't make them rush the repairs as that will only manifest at a latter date.... personally I would run the summer how it is, and then put it in for repair.... guess the hard bit is you all ways want your car looking the best....

She goes in tomorrow, then she'll be perfect come summer
Along with the shiny new rear she'll also have new carpets along with the wheels refurbished in shadow chrome - hopefully will look stunning and be ready for Chatsworth. Fingers crossed anyhow...

To update this Hoov, I won't be at Chatsworth. Repairs are likely to take 6-8 weeks as she needs a new rear end.

Where abouts are you in Donny Mick? it would be easier for me if I joined you all at Junction 3 of M18, as I only live 5 minutes from there and otherwise would be travelling about 12 miles North to moto services, hope this is ok with everyone. - shattered the GRP beneath the paintwork, right through the wing and the entire rear end. Goes to show how bad a fibreglass knock can be compared with what you can actually see.
