Bizzarre reading that, and brings back memories.

I had a girlfriend in the late eighties who was offered a job at Saatchi & Saatchi as a teenager also, she did well from them as well, and had within a couple of years a 964 (but in black).

Must have been the right time for persistant and eventually powerful women. The ex went from being in sales and advertising on 10K was over the 100k earnings a year within seven. She's on super stella money now by all accounts.

And no I don't miss her. ........ well ok, she had a great butt.

She is certainly pushy - about 10 years back, when you could still smoke in pubs and I foolishly smoked, she approached me in a Solihull bar, asking to borrow my lighter.

After using it, she smiled and said "Thanks, I will keep this" and toddled back to her friends - it wasn't a request, merely a statement of fact !
